چکیده

Building micro and macro sized structures using compacted magnetic nanoparticles is a widely used approach that has proven great potential as the basis for novel materials made by design. These are compactation of soft particles in nano o micrometer sizes their macroscopic properties mostly governed magnetostatic effects combination intervening shapes, namely those individual piece with these particles. Herein simplified mean-field model presented to describe composites cylindrical shape densely packed ideal spherical The allows calculating main parameters system well most relevant tendencies function its parameters. Furthermore, also been successfully applied arrays interacting which provides further controllable parameter.

Magnetic field assisted programming of particle shapes and patterns.
Anisotropic particles have generated an enormous amount of research interest due to their applications for drug delivery, electronic displays and as micromotors. However, up till now, there is no single protocol capable of generating particles of "patchy" composition with a variety of well-defined and predictable shapes. To address this, in this submission we dispersed magnetic nanoparticles (M...
متن کاملMagnetic levitation of metamaterial bodies enhanced with magnetostatic surface resonances
We propose that macroscopic objects built from negative-permeability metamaterials may experience resonantly enhanced magnetic force in low-frequency magnetic fields. Resonant enhancement of the timeaveraged force originates from magnetostatic surface resonances (MSRs), which are analogous to the electrostatic resonances of negative-permittivity particles, well known as surface plasmon resonanc...
متن کاملCylindrical equilibrium shapes of fluid membranes
Within the framework of the well-known curvature models, a fluid lipid bilayer membrane is regarded as a surface embedded in the three-dimensional Euclidean space whose equilibrium shapes are described in terms of its mean and Gaussian curvatures by the so-called membrane shape equation. In the present paper, all solutions to this equation determining cylindrical membrane shapes are found and p...
متن کاملShapes of nearly cylindrical, axisymmetric bilayer membranes
Shapes of nearly cylindrical sections of axisymmetric phospholipid membranes are studied theoretically. Describing the shape of such sections by their deviation from a reference cylinder, the wellestablished shape equation for axisymmetric bilayer membranes is expanded in terms of this deviation, and it is then solved analytically. The phase diagram shows the resulting stationary shapes as func...
متن کاملCombining micromagnetism and magnetostatic Maxwell equations for multiscale magnetic simulations☆
Magnetostatic Maxwell equations and the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert (LLG) equation are combined to a multiscale method, which allows to extend the problem size of traditional micromagnetic simulations. By means of magnetostatic Maxwell equations macroscopic regions can be handled in an averaged and stationary sense, whereas the LLG allows to accurately describe domain formation as well as magnetiza...
